The following is a sample KIB Schedule that is fairly typical of the event. A finalized schedule will be sent to all participants and directors prior to the event. ALL TIMES are Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Wednesday

All Wednesday events take place at the School of Music, University of Louisville.

08:30am : Director’s Hospitality (Room 142)

09:00am : KIB Directors Meeting (Room 142)

09:30am : Seating Auditions begin. Signup sheets will be posted outside each room.

• Saxes/Bassoons/Bass Clarinet – 310
• Horns – LL21
• Trumpets – 142
• Trombones – LL15
• Tubas/Euphoniums – Bird Hall
• Percussion – LL65 (all percussionists must be present) 

11:30am : Lunch Break

01:00pm : Rehearsal – LL65 (Band Room)

01:30pm : KY College Band Directors Meeting (Room 142)

05:00pm : Dinner Break

06:30pm : Rehearsal – LL65 (Band Room)

08:45pm : Rehearsal Concludes. Percussionists must stay to assist with loading the truck for the move to KCPA.

Thursday

All Thursday events take place at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.

10:00am : Rehearsal – KCPA Whitney Hall

11:15am : Lunch Break (Percussionists assist with moving equipment to Todd Hall)

01:00pm : Rehearsal – KCPA Todd Hall (students bring folding music stands)

3:00pm : Break (Percussionists assist with moving equipment to Whitney Hall).

4:00pm : All State/Intercollegiate Conductors Round Table – KICC Room TBA

7:15pm : Report to KCPA Back Stage Area – KCPA Dressing Rooms

7:20pm : Intercollegiate Ensembles Concert, KCPA Whitney Hall

• Kentucky ACDA All Collegiate Choir performs first. The Kentucky Intercollegiate Band will usually start their concert around 8:15 PM.
